💷 Salary: £32,500 – £34,127 (including approx. 7 sleep-ins per month)
🕒 Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
🛏️ Sleep-ins: 7 per month


🌟 About the Role We are seeking a compassionate and resilient Residential Support Worker to join our team in a specialist EBD children’s home in Gloucester. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people, helping them grow, develop, and achieve their potential.
🙌 What You’ll Do

• Provide day-to-day support, guidance, and encouragement to children and young people.
• Help create a safe, nurturing, and positive home environment.
• Support children with their emotional, social, and educational needs.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, professionals, and families.
• Contribute to care planning, daily routines, and activities.
• Participate in sleep-ins (approx. 7 per month).

✅ What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience working with children or young people (desired).
• Background in the health and social care sector (desired).
• Ability to build trusting relationships and act as a positive role model.
• Resilience, empathy, and patience to support children with complex needs.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
