Lead a brand-new 3-bed EBD childrenās home and shape outstanding care from day one.
Weāre working with a growing, values-led provider opening a new EBD childrenās home in Slough. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager ā or a strong Deputy / Assistant Manager ready to step up ā to take full ownership of a new service and build a high-performing home from the ground up.
Youāll be supported by a highly experienced Responsible Individual and engaged ownership team, while having the autonomy to recruit, lead, and inspire your own staff team.

š¹ The Role As Registered Manager, youāll hold full responsibility for the leadership, quality, and compliance of the home.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the day-to-day running of the childrenās home in line with Childrenās Homes Regulations & Ofsted standards
- Supporting registration and inspection readiness alongside the Responsible Individual
- Recruiting, developing, and managing a committed care team
- Overseeing high-quality, child-centred care planning
- Liaising with families, professionals, and external agencies
- Driving quality assurance, audits, and continuous improvement
- Ensuring safeguarding, health & safety, and regulatory compliance at all times
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or equivalent) ā or working towards
- Experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, or Assistant Manager in a childrenās residential setting
- Background in EBD or complex needs environments
- Strong leadership, organisational, and people-management skills
- Confident knowledge of Ofsted frameworks and regulatory requirements
- A genuine commitment to delivering outstanding outcomes for children
