We are a therapeutic childrenās residential care provider in the Northwest, supporting young people aged 8ā17 with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), high-risk challenging behaviour, and additional complex needs. Our approach is built on consistency, compassion, and trauma-informed practice.
We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to support the day-to-day running of a childrenās home and lead confidently in the absence of the Registered Manager.

š¹ The Role As Deputy Manager, you will play a key leadership role within the home, supporting staff and young people to achieve positive outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Registered Manager in all aspects of home management
- Leading shifts, delegating tasks, and maintaining high standards of practice
- Overseeing care planning, reviews, and regulatory compliance
- Ensuring records and documentation meet required standards
- Supporting staff through inductions, supervisions, and appraisals
- Promoting effective teamwork and a positive staff culture
- Championing young peopleās voices, choices, and independence
- Liaising with professionals and external agencies
- Participating in on-call duties as required
- Upholding Childrenās Homes Regulations and internal policies
- NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Children & Young Peopleās Workforce (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 yearsā experience at senior level within a childrenās residential setting
- Full UK manual driving licence
