Clinical Lead (24 Hours per Week)

💷 Rate of Pay: £24.50 per hour (paid breaks)
⏰ Hours: 24 hours per week

We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Lead to join a well-established elderly and dementia care service in the Whitehaven area. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident nurse leader to take on a part-time role combining hands-on clinical work with leadership responsibilities.

About the Role:

The position includes a mix of clinical and leadership duties:

• One 12-hour nursing shift (days 6:45am–7:00pm or nights 6:45pm–7:00am)
• Two 6-hour Clinical Lead shifts (9:00am–3:00pm)

You’ll work alongside the Home Manager to ensure outstanding standards of care, lead and mentor the nursing team, and uphold clinical excellence throughout the home.

Requirements:

• NMC Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) – essential
• Experience in elderly or dementia care settings
• Proven leadership or senior nurse experience
• Strong understanding of CQC regulations and best practice
• Excellent communication and clinical decision-making skills
