💷 £14.50 per hour £60 sleep-in
🕒 2 on / 4 off shift pattern

We are a therapeutic children’s residential care provider supporting young people aged 8–17 with EBD, high-risk challenging behaviour, and complex needs. Our focus is on delivering consistent, compassionate, trauma-informed care that helps young people feel safe, supported, and understood.
We are now recruiting a Team Leader to lead practice on shift and support the delivery of high-quality care.
🔹 The Role As Team Leader, you will be a key presence on shift, setting standards and supporting both staff and young people.
Key responsibilities:

• Lead shifts and maintain high standards of care and conduct
• Mentor and support staff, including new starters
• Conduct staff supervisions and provide feedback to senior management
• Act as a key point of contact on shift and escalate concerns when required
• Act as Key Worker where necessary
• Support care planning, assessments, and reviews
• Organise and participate in activities, outings, and holidays
• Liaise with external professionals and agencies
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and sign off written work
• Promote best practice in line with the home’s Statement of Purpose and policies

✅ What We’re Looking For Essential:

• Level 3 or 4 qualification in Children & Young People (or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a children’s residential setting

Desirable:

• Full UK manual driving licence
