Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home (SEBD)
📍 Stevenage | 🕒 6-month temporary placement | 💷 £60,000 pro rata

We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager to lead a 5-bed children’s residential home supporting young people with Social, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (SEBD). This is a short-term, hands-on leadership role requiring an immediate start.

The Role

Full operational leadership of a 5-bed SEBD children’s home

Maintain full compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 and Ofsted Quality Standards

Provide strong, visible leadership to staff teams

Oversee safeguarding, care planning, staffing, rotas, and quality assurance

Ensure stability, structure, and positive outcomes for young people

Essential Requirements

Currently registered with Ofsted as a Registered Manager

Proven experience managing a children’s residential home (SEBD experience essential)

Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)

Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children & Young People)

Able to start immediately / at short notice

6-month fixed-term / temporary placement

£60,000 per annum pro rata
