🌟 About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Registered Children's Home Manager to lead a newly established home in Kirkby Stephen supporting young people with learning disabilities.
We’re looking for a passionate, forward-thinking leader who’s ready to create a safe, nurturing, and empowering environment where children can thrive. This role is ideal for a proven Registered Manager — or a strong Deputy ready to take the next step in their career.

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Children and Young People’s Services – essential
  • Level 3 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience within children’s residential care
  • Strong understanding of Ofsted frameworks, safeguarding, and best practice in care delivery
  • A collaborative, resilient leader with excellent people management skills
