- Base salary £53,000
- OTE up to £60,800 through performance bonuses
- 4-bed EBD childrenās home
- Ofsted rating: Good
- Full occupancy bonus: £400 per month
You will have full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring high standards of care, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance while developing a stable, motivated staff team.
š Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of the childrenās home
- Ensure compliance with Childrenās Homes Regulations and Ofsted standards
- Maintain and improve inspection outcomes and service quality
- Recruit, supervise, and develop the staff team
- Oversee safeguarding, care planning, and risk management
- Liaise with professionals, families, and external agencies
- Drive continuous improvement and strong occupancy outcomes
- NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management (or equivalent)
- Proven experience as a Registered Manager in a childrenās residential setting (EBD preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Confident leadership and people-management skills
- Commitment to delivering outstanding, child-centred care
- ā Ā£53,000 base salary
- ā OTE up to Ā£60,800 through performance bonuses
- ā 32 days annual leave (including Bank Holidays), increasing by 1 day per year for the first 3 years
- ā On-call included within salary (shared with Deputy Manager; rarely required)
- ā Ofsted bonus: Ā£3,000 (Outstanding) | Ā£1,500 (Good)
- ā Company car or travel allowance: Ā£3,000 per annum
- ā Full occupancy bonus: Ā£400 per month
