Deputy Manager – Dementia Care Home

Location: Haverfordwest
Hours: 40 hours per week

• 16 hours supernumerary (management)
• 24 hours clinical

Pay Rate: £23.00 – £25.00 per hour (dependent on experience)

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join a dementia-focused care home. This role combines hands-on clinical practice with leadership and management responsibilities, supporting the Home Manager in delivering high-quality, person-centred dementia care.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day management of the home
• Provide strong clinical leadership on shift
• Ensure high standards of dementia care and regulatory compliance
• Support audits, care planning, and staff development
• Promote a safe, caring, and well-led service

Requirements

• Previous experience working in dementia care
• Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN)
• Willingness to undertake CQC Level 4 qualification
• Strong leadership, communication, and clinical skills
