Registered Manager – Nursing & Residential Care Home

Location: Smethwick
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are recruiting an experienced Registered Manager for a 55-bedded care home in the Smethwick area, providing both nursing and residential care.

This role is ideal for a confident, hands-on leader who can demonstrate strong governance, clinical oversight, and a commitment to driving quality improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Full operational and clinical management of the home
• Ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and best practice
• Leading, supporting, and developing the staff team
• Overseeing audits, safeguarding, and quality assurance
• Driving continuous improvement and preparing for CQC inspection
• Maintaining high standards of resident-centred care

Candidate Requirements

• Registered Nurse with a valid NMC PIN (RGN / RMN)
• Proven experience as a Care Home Manager
• Strong understanding of CQC compliance and inspection frameworks
• Confident managing nursing services and large teams
• Able to start immediately or at short notice
