Waking Night Residential Children's Care Worker (Children’s Residential) - Stockport Area - £32,940 per Annum Bonus - 3 on 3 off Rolling Pattern Shift

About the Company
This Children's Home is looking for a calm, reliable Waking Night Residential Care Worker to support children aged 8 to 16 in one of our therapeutic homes in Stockport. This role is about consistency, safety, and helping young people settle through the night and start the morning well.

Location: Stockport

Pay:
 £15.00 per hour
Annual equivalent income: Aprox £32,940 per year based on a 12 hour shift worked over a 3 days on 3 days off recurring shift pattern.
Potential bonus package: up to £2,400 performance related bonus (total annual income potential up to aprox £35,340)

12 hour waking nights, 10pm to 10am
What you will do as a Waking Night Residential Children's Care Worker
  • Provide overnight supervision and reassurance, keeping the home safe and settled.
  • Support bedtime and morning routines.
  • Light domestic duties to keep the home a safe and clean environment.
  • Record and report key information, wellbeing, and any incidents.
  • Maintain a calm, compliant environment in line with policies and safeguarding practice.
Waking Night Residential Children's Care Worker Essential Criteria
  • Residential childcare experience is preferred (at least 1 year ideal)
  • Full UK driving licence and ability to commute to Stockport
  • Willingness to work towards Level 4 Children, Young People and Families Practitioner
  • Right to work in the UK
