Location: Southend-on-Sea
Salary: Up to £55,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking an experienced Ofsted Registered Manager to lead a small semi-independent young people’s service (16 ) in Southend. The home currently supports 2 young people, with capacity for 4 placements, and has clear plans for future business expansion.

The service is supported by a well-established parent company operating since 2015, offering stability, infrastructure, and long-term growth opportunities.

The Role:

• Overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of a semi-independent 16 service
• Ensuring full Ofsted compliance and high-quality outcomes for young people
• Leading, developing, and supporting staff
• Supporting service growth and expansion plans
• Building positive relationships with professionals, commissioners, and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Ofsted Registered Manager (essential)
• Background in semi-independent or children’s residential services (16 )
• Strong leadership, compliance, and organisational skills
• Confident managing inspections and regulatory standards
