Service Manager – Supported Accommodation 🏠
Location: Andover (with travel between sites)
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum
Contract: Temporary Maternity Cover (minimum 12 months)
Hours: Full time, Monday – Friday
Reports to: Registered Manager / Operations Manager
About the Role 💼 We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead our CQC-regulated Supported Accommodation service on a temporary basis covering maternity leave. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dedicated team, making a real difference to the lives of people with learning disabilities.
You will be responsible for leading Support Supervisors and Coordinators, ensuring that services meet high standards of care, regulatory requirements, and operational objectives. While CQC registration is not required, a strong knowledge and understanding of CQC standards is essential.

You will be responsible for leading Support Supervisors and Coordinators, ensuring that services meet high standards of care, regulatory requirements, and operational objectives. While CQC registration is not required, a strong knowledge and understanding of CQC standards is essential.
Key Responsibilities ✅
- Lead and support a team of Support Supervisors to deliver high-quality care and support
- Ensure every person has a key-worker, personalised support plan, risk assessment, and timely reviews
- Oversee staffing rotas, proactively resolving shortfalls and maintaining safe, efficient staffing levels
- Support and monitor medication management and ensure staff competency
- Promote strong communication and relationships with clients, families, health professionals, and other agencies
- Develop referral processes to ensure smooth onboarding of new clients
- Support budget management, including staffing costs and client finances
- Coach and develop staff through supervision, appraisals, and performance management
- Lead on incident management, ensuring lessons are learned and shared across the team
- Assist with audits, compliance visits, and maintaining adherence to all policies and procedures
- Level 5 Diploma in Health & Social Care or equivalent experience
- Experience managing/supporting staff in a leadership role
- Experience working with people with learning disabilities and their families
- Strong interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills
- Professional, caring, and confidential approach
- Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and diversity
- Willingness to provide on-call support as required
- Experience in CQC-regulated services
- Temporary maternity cover contract with the potential for hands-on impact
