Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care throughout the pre-, peri-, and post-operative stages.
• Assist with ophthalmic procedures and theatre preparation.
• Support patients with education and reassurance throughout their surgical journey.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards at all times.
• Work closely with surgeons, anaesthetists, and clinical staff to ensure smooth care delivery.

Candidate Requirements:

• NMC Registered Nurse (Adult).
• Previous ophthalmic or surgical nursing experience preferred, but training will be provided.
• Keen interest in ophthalmology and a commitment to learning.
• Excellent communication and teamworking skills.
