Job Title: Senior Care Assistant – Nights
Salary: £14.80 per hour + incentives
Hours: Full-time, 3 x 12-hour night shifts (7pm–7am) per week, including alternate weekends
Location: Walkeringham area
About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Care Assistant to join our night team. You’ll lead shifts, support and guide care staff, and ensure residents receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support the care team during night shifts.
Promote residents’ independence, dignity, and wellbeing.
Administer and accurately record medications.
Maintain high standards in care documentation and medication audits.
Support and mentor team members through regular one-to-ones.
About You
Essential:
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care.
2+ years’ experience as a Care Assistant in a residential or nursing home.
Knowledge of person-centred care and safeguarding practices.
Live within 30 minutes of the home.
Preferred:
Experience caring for residents with dementia.
NVQ Level 4 or higher.
Leadership experience in a similar setting.
