Job Title: Senior RGN Nurse – Days
Location: Paignton, Devon
Salary: £25.00 per hour
Hours: 38.5 – 45 hours per week (including supernumerary hours)
Job Type: Full-time

Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior RGN Nurse to join a supportive nursing team at a well-established care home in the Paignton area. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality nursing and dementia care, while also supporting and mentoring colleagues in delivering exceptional standards of service.
The home provides both dementia residential care and dementia nursing care for up to 52 residents, and the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring safe, compassionate, and person-centred care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support the nursing and care team to deliver high-quality clinical care.
• Provide hands-on nursing care for residents with a range of needs, including dementia.
• Undertake assessments, care planning, and reviews.
• Administer medication safely and in line with best practice.
• Act as a role model, supporting, mentoring, and developing junior staff.
• Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and internal standards.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Current NMC registration as an RGN.
• Previous experience in elderly care and dementia nursing.
• Strong clinical knowledge and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Compassionate, resilient, and committed to continuous professional development.
