Team Leader – Care Location: Edwinstowe
Salary: £15.45 per hour
Hours: Full-time, 7am – 7pm, 3–4 shifts per week (including alternate weekends)
Includes 8 supernumerary hours per week plus participation in an on-call weekend rota

Team members under 21 will be paid £1.00 less per hour – still significantly above National Minimum Wage.
🏡 About the Home This purpose-built home provides personal, nursing, and dementia care for up to 49 residents.
The environment is warm and welcoming, with beautiful garden areas designed to promote comfort and wellbeing.
💼 About the Role As Team Leader, you will play a vital part in leading our care team to deliver exceptional support to residents.
You’ll ensure the highest standards of care are maintained while promoting residents’ choice, dignity, and independence.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and inspire the care team to deliver outstanding, person-centred care
  • Support with personal care, medication administration, and daily activities
  • Provide input during shift handovers to ensure consistent, high-quality care
  • Promote residents’ physical, emotional, and social wellbeing
  • Ensure safe and compliant medication practices
  • Act as a role model, supporting and mentoring care staff
Essential Requirements:
  • Relevant qualification such as Registered Nurse or NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
  • At least 1 year’s experience in a residential or nursing home
  • Understanding of person-centred care planning
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and recognising signs of abuse
  • Full driving licence
  • Must live within 30 minutes of the home
Preferred Experience:
  • 2 years in a similar leadership role within a residential or nursing home
  • Experience supporting residents living with dementia
  • NVQ Level 4 or above in Health & Social Care
  • Strong team management and mentoring skills
