We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Support Manager to provide strategic and operational support across a portfolio of children’s residential homes.
This is a key leadership position focused on stabilising services, supporting Registered Managers, and driving quality and compliance improvements across the region.
The Role
As Regional Support Manager, you will:
- Provide hands-on and strategic support to Registered Managers and staff teams
- Deliver parachute support to homes requiring additional leadership or stability
- Conduct audits, quality assurance checks, and action plans to drive improvement
- Provide coaching and mentoring to managers and teams
- Step in as interim leadership where services require additional support
- Ensure all homes operate in line with Ofsted regulations and safeguarding standards
- Identify risks early and implement effective service improvement strategies
- Support the development of safe, therapeutic, and child-centred environments
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Significant experience in a senior leadership role within children’s residential care
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations, safeguarding, and Children’s Home Standards
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or equivalent)
- Proven ability to support, coach, and develop Registered Managers and teams
- Experience delivering quality assurance, audits, and service improvements
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Desirable Understanding of trauma-informed care and therapeutic practice
- Experience supporting homes through inspection or stabilisation periods
- Salary up to £60,000 per annum
