Theatre Healthcare Assistant Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting patients pre- and post-operatively, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Assisting in theatre with set-up, equipment preparation, and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Supporting the surgical and nursing teams during procedures.
- Monitoring and maintaining stock levels, ensuring equipment and supplies are ready for use.
- Providing compassionate, professional support to patients at every stage of their journey.
- Maintaining accurate records and adhering to all clinical policies and procedures.
- Previous experience working as a Healthcare Assistant, ideally within theatres or a surgical setting.
- A caring and empathetic approach, with excellent communication skills.
- Strong teamwork and organisational abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment.
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Health & Social Care (desirable but not essential).
