Children’s Home Manager – 4 Bed EBD Home (Essex)
Salary: £60,000 – rising to £70,000 with a full home

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Registered Manager to lead our new 4-bed EBD (Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties) home in Essex. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in establishing and developing a high-quality service that provides stability, safety, and positive outcomes for young people.

Key responsibilities:

• Register with Ofsted as the Home Manager and ensure compliance with regulations and standards
• Lead, inspire, and develop a skilled staff team to deliver outstanding care
• Create a nurturing, safe, and therapeutic environment for young people with EBD
• Manage budgets, staffing, and placement occupancy to ensure a sustainable and successful home
• Build strong partnerships with local authorities, professionals, and families

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within a children’s residential setting (2 Years)
• Strong knowledge of Ofsted regulations and Children’s Home Regulations 2015
• NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or working towards)
