Night Nurse – Elderly Care Home
Location: Charlton Kings, Cheltenham
Hours: 25 hours per week
Shifts: 7:45pm – 8:15am, including alternate weekends
Pay Rate:

• £22.86 per hour (Monday – Friday)
• £23.86 per hour (Saturday – Sunday)

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Night Nurse to join a welcoming care home in Charlton Kings, Cheltenham. This role is perfect for a dedicated nurse who is passionate about providing exceptional care and support to elderly residents during night shifts.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care throughout the night, ensuring residents are safe, comfortable, and supported. You’ll work as part of a dedicated team, leading care staff and maintaining professional standards at all times.
Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional nursing care to elderly residents
• Lead the care team during night shifts, ensuring quality and safety
• Administer medication and maintain accurate documentation
• Respond promptly to residents' needs and emergencies
• Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing among residents
• Work alternate weekends as part of the shift rota

Requirements:

• NMC Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, or equivalent)
• Previous experience working in a care or nursing home for the elderly (essential)
• Strong clinical knowledge and leadership skills
• Compassionate, reliable, and committed to delivering exceptional care
• Ability to work night shifts on a set pattern
