Day Nurse – Elderly Care Home
Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire
Hours: 30 hours per week
Shifts: 7:00am – 7:30pm, including alternate weekends
Pay Rate:

• £22.12 per hour (Monday – Friday)
• £23.12 per hour (Saturday – Sunday)

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join a welcoming and supportive care home in Banbury, Oxfordshire. This role is ideal for a dedicated nurse with a passion for elderly care, committed to delivering exceptional, person-centred support during day shifts.
About the Role:
As a Day Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring residents receive the highest standards of clinical and personal care. You will work closely with the care team, lead by example, and provide strong clinical oversight to maintain a safe and nurturing environment for elderly residents.
Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care and support to residents
• Lead and supervise care staff to ensure consistent, safe care delivery
• Administer medication and maintain accurate records
• Respond effectively to residents’ needs and emergencies
• Promote dignity, independence, and wellbeing in every aspect of care
• Work alternate weekends as part of the shift rota

Requirements:

• NMC Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, or equivalent) – essential
• Previous experience in a care or nursing home for the elderly
• Strong clinical and leadership skills
• Compassionate, reliable, and resident-focused
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts on a fixed schedule
